McKenzie Method® Treat Your Own Neck Book

Treat Your Own Neck. Easy to follow patient book. Providing you with an active self-treatment plan To effectively treat & prevent neck pain.

This patient handbook provides an easy to follow self-treatment plan to quickly and effectively diagnose, treat, alleviate and manage debilitating neck and related pains, such as shoulder pain or headaches, even for the long-term sufferer. First published in 1983, second in the best-selling Treat Your Own series by internationally renowned Robin McKenzie OBE, this book distils the essence of the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® as taught to medical professionals worldwide, in an easily accessible format direct to the sufferer. Numerous international studies have confirmed that the McKenzie Method® allows patients to take control of their own pain and postural management, avoid surgery and a long-term costly dependence upon clinicians.

  1. I have suffered from neck pain for years, I purchased the book McKenzie method for neck problems, and after one week of exercises. I am finally free of pain, amazing and thankyou. Highly recommended!!

  2. Did the job.

  3. I found this book very useful. Exercises are definitely useful and they make you aware of a proper neck posture. Everything is described in detail and everything is clear: which exercises to do, in what order, what to expect etc. I recommend it.

  4. This book was recommended by a friend from the nursing profession and has proved to be invaluable. By following the exercise programme I am now pain free most of the time and when I slip back to an incorrect posture and the pain returns, be it less severe than it was originally, it takes no time at all to clear by following the exercise programme. Highly recommend it.

  5. Succinct but solid advice. The book is brief but the guidance is good. Basic tips on posture, and simple neck exercises to alleviate tightness.
