I have previously used the back and neck books in this series, as advised by a physiotherapist years ago, with good results. I was pleased to see the hip version recently as I have osteoarthritis of my left hip with moderate pain and reduced mobility. Unfortunately these exercises have done absolutely nothing for my pain or range of movement. I find them difficult and somewhat painful to perform, so I presume they are just not for me or my particular problem.

Had left hip pain brought on by heavy boxes I carried improperly. Pain interrupted my sleep and made climbing steps a challenge. I am a RN snd bought this book and it has been a lifesaver!!!! This has a very thorough approach and if you follow the simple exercises you will make great strides if you are one his questionnaire says will benefit. I found when I got very serious about following a strict regimen to perform the exercises, I started seeing positive results.

Heal Your Own Neck exercises make almost every headache go away. So when I couldn’t move my leg for the pain in my groin, I tried this book. It worked! I like that it has some questions to help decide if it is a hip problem or something else.

I’d already borrowed Treat Your Own Neck from a friend. I refused to give it back. It’s that good. Recently, I looked to see if the same book may have been made for the hips. So grateful that it was. Such simple exercises for maximum relief. The BEST!!

Like the other “Treat Your Own” books, this has the most practical approach to understanding and managing your joint issues. I have use the “…Back” and “…Neck” books to great success and this one doesn’t disappoint.
